Dana Immanuel is a banjo-toting, whiskey-drinking, poker-playing, singer-songwriter currently operating from a north London hideout from which emerges a sound more usually associated with the bayou, triple filtered through bourbon, washboard and a touch of alt-country eccentricity. 
With the five piece all girl Stolen Band, Dana has been getting feet stomping across the UK folk, blues, Americana and rock scenes.

Having been Classically trained at Oxford (she studied Latin, Greek and Philosophy, with a self-taught minor in guitar playing and country music appreciation), Dana set out to live the dream; she became a professional busker on the icon that is the London Underground. These formative years produced her debut album Character Assassination, a unique blend of folk, blues, old-fashioned jazz and Americana overlaid with lyrics featuring a surfeit of wit and a lack of punches pulled. A long stint working in the gambler's demi monde that is the poker industry contributed not insignificantly to the lyrical content of her second album, to be titled Dotted Lines and scheduled for release in 2015.

Dana’s music reflects her eclectic influences, from Alice Cooper to Hank Williams, routed via the bluegrass turnpike around the township of alt-country. She is at home in the high-stakes casinos of Monte Carlo as in the basement bars of London, Paris and Amsterdam, and her live show with the Stolen Band is not to be missed.






The Stolen Band are also available for festivals and shows in 2016, currently recording and touring in April 2016

Folk - Roots - Blues - Americana

Lloyd Williams is a British Songwriter, known for his unique Banjo and Guitar techniques as well as an uncompromising attitude to writing and playing music he loves.  With shades of Nick Drake and John Martyn, he intertwines a darker Folk Americana edge, with a classic British Folk sound. 

Already a cult name on the Folk circuit Lloyd is working with Legendary Producer John Wood, Who Was responsible for All 3 Nick Drake Albums, John Martyn's, Bless the weather and solid air, As well as Pink Floyd, Fairport convention,Sandy Denny Solo albums, Cat Stevens, Incredible string band, Nico, And Squeeze.  John has produced and mixed Lloyd Williams new Album. 

His Live performances see him effortlessly flip between Banjo and Acoustic Guitar, At times playing the sound with haunting church organs and Hurdy Gurdies.  The new recordings see Lloyd take to the old school sound yet again, Recording and mixing using analogue tape, to gain the vintage warm tones so in keeping with his music.  

His Overwhelming talents, Commanding Stage presence and unique ability to draw fans all over the world see a big future in store.

As Locust Honey, Chloe Edmonstone and Meredith Watson bring their
experience in Old-Time, Bluegrass, and Pre-War Blues to both their
original material and the traditional songs and tunes of the American
Southeast.  With a rotating instrumentation of fiddles, open-back and
resonator banjos, acoustic and resonator guitars, they set an emphasis
on lively arrangements that showcase their signature vintage vocal
harmonies.  Joined by John Miller, (The Fox Hunt, The Hackensaw Boys,)
on upright bass, they have been touring the US, UK and Ireland since
2012.

Their original song, "When The Whiskey's Gone," was featured in the
2014 film "Time Out of Mind," starring Richard Gere and directed by
Oren Moverman.  Their record "Never Let Me Cross Your Mind" was
released to critical acclaim in 2014 and remained in the top ten on
the Folk DJ Charts for 4 months.

"The Buffalo Skinners began life as a busking band in 2010, channelling their old folk and skiffle heroes to small crowds in Scarborough.

5 years and tens of thousands of miles later the band have earned themselves a sizeable group of fans in the UK, Europe and the west coast of America. This Summer alone their red post-bus covered ground equivalent to half the circumference of the world! 

They play their own twist on folk - lyric-centred songs arranged in a beat-pop style and bashed out on guitars, skiffle-y drums, bass, fiddle, rhodes piano and harmonica. It's an atmospheric mix, eerie, cacophonous and fun in equal measure.

The members form a song-writing collective and are currently made up of Robbie Thompson (Bass), Peter Seccombe (Guitar), James Nicholls (Violin), Kieran Thorpe (Piano) and Miles Stapleton (Drums).

The songs are bought forward and fleshed out by the band in full sounding arrangements often with 4 part vocal harmony. They are proud to have had them selected for airplay on BBC Radio 1, BBC Radio 2 and BBC 6 music shows including ones hosted by Dermot O'Leary, Bob Harris, Steve Lamacq, Cerys Matthews and Janice Long.

Their first couple of albums were self-recorded in unusual locations; the first ‘The Buffalo Skinners’ in the house of singer Peter Seccombe’s recently deceased grandfather Ronald Price. The second ‘The Other Nine-to-Five’  in a converted office space in Los Angeles. In 2012 they recorded a double A-side single ‘Sam’s Chop House / Lost & Gone’ with Leeds based producers Jamie Lockhart and Lee Smith (The Cribs, Jeffery Lewis, Pulled Apart By Horses) at Greenmount Studios.


In September 2014 The Buffalo Skinners were selected by BBC Introducing to play at Radio 2 Live in Hyde Park with ELO and Blondie and have played at many other renowned music festivals including Wilderness, Boomtown, Camp Bestival, Deer Shed, Fire in the Mountain, The Beverley Folk Festival, Truck Festival and Tramlines. Their music has taken them all over the UK as well as to France (twice), Las Vegas, Southern California, has put them in all kinds of situations and has even earned them an appearance on the BBC 2 television documentary, ‘Towns’ playing their version of the traditional folk song 'Scarborough Fair.'


The Buffalo Skinners currently live in Sheffield and are recording their third album with producer Colin Elliot who has been nominated for a Mercury Music Prize and received two gold records for his work with Richard Hawley.

They plan to release the album in Spring 2016."

I hosted a show last year for Santa Cruz based Marty O'Reilly when he was touring Europe as support band for The Rainbow Girls USA, Marty opened the show and took us all by surprise by far the stronger act of the evening, the CD's are great his performance is professional with a very big stage presence. This year he is touring as a four piece with Fiddle, Double bass, Guitar and percussionist/light drums.

Marty O'Reilly began his musical journey as a blues guitar player, exploring the works of Blind Willie Johnson, Mississippi John Hurt, John Lee Hooker, Howlin' Wolf, Charlie Patton, and Leadbelly. Through extensive listening and studying of the early delta greats, O'Reilly developed a unique foundation onto which he would incorporate themes from influences in other musical veins such as John Fahey, Nick Drake, John Vandiver, and Tom Waits. Whether it be his original pieces, or his renditions of old American classics O’Reilly tells his story through an old and soulful voice, propelled by a sense of authentic emotional adrenaline.

 The trio was formed in late 2012, and has rapidly made a name for itself along the west coast of the United States, as well as the United Kingdom, and Ireland. being featured at many notable venues and festivals, including Outside Lands Festival (2014), Maverick (2014), Rivertown Revival Festival (2013), Do It Ourselves Festival (2014), Cafe Du Nord (SF), Hotel Cafe (LA), and Empty Sea Studios (Seattle). The Band released a self titled live album in 2013 and their debut studio album "Pray For Rain" in Spring of 2014.

The AHQ is an interesting project playing both traditional music and Electro Swing Band,  



The After Hours Quintet Band bring the sounds of the roaring 20’s to any event - playing a selection of classic swing tunes alongside more recent popular hits. With extensive experience playing dance events, weddings and festivals, the Rauchestra can tailor their music to suit all occassions. 
They also offer a range of different lineups to suit specific taste preferences, budgets and venues, these include: 
Duo - guitar, clarinet/ sax and vocals. 
Trio - guitar, clarinet/sax, with an additional bass instrument and washboard. Trio - guitar, clarinet/ sax, 2 vocals with a soloist and live looping. 
Quartet - guitar, clarinet/ sax, trumpet and a bass instrument (either double bass or souzaphone) Quintet - guitar, bass, drums/ washboard, clarinet/ sax and trumpet. Sextet - guitar, bass, drums, clarinet/ sax, trumpet and tromobone .
